You can play Connect 4 on a 7x6 board with hasbro and using small plates, or on the net if you use pencil and paper, or on Papergames.io with the online multiplayer setup. Circle pieces (small plates) must be placed from the lowest line to the highest. The end goal is to create a sequence of 4 circles (small plates) horizontally, vertically or diagonally. The required pieces must be placed from the lowest line or above a piece previously placed by the player.
How to play Connect 4
The game is played on a vertical grid consisting of six rows and seven columns, making a total of 42 empty cells.
Each player chooses a color, traditionally red or yellow, and takes turns dropping one of their colored discs onto any of the seven columns.
The disk will reduce to the lowest available space in the selected column.
Players take turns, each player strategically trying to position his or her plate to block the opponent's advance while aiming to create their own four-disc line.
The game continues until one player successfully connects four discs horizontally, vertically or diagonally, or until the entire grid is filled with discs, resulting in a tie.
